Meet Ella Penniall ~ Owner and groomer of Pawsitive Nails & Grooming

Ella Penniall is a passionate and dedicated groomer based in the heart of Muskoka. Her journey began with mobile nail trims for dogs, cats, and small animals, offering personalized care right at clients' doorsteps. Within just six months, Ella discovered that grooming was more than just a service—it was her calling. Eager to refine her skills, Ella spent three months apprenticing under an experienced groomer before launching her own grooming services in May 2025. Her business, Pawsitive Nails and Grooming, was founded with a clear mission: to create a calm, caring, and individualized grooming experience for every pet. Ella brings over eight years of experience in the pet care industry. She began her career at Pet Valu before pursuing her education as a Veterinary Technician, graduating with honours in 2022. She gained valuable experience working at the OSPCA in Bracebridge and later at a veterinary clinic in Gravenhurst as a veterinary technician. Now, as a one-on-one groomer, Ella takes pride in offering personalized attention to each pet, ensuring a stress-free and compassionate grooming session. Her focus is always on the comfort and happiness of the animals in her care, creating what she calls a “pawsitive” experience—every time. Dedicated to continuous learning, Ella is always honing her skills and staying current with best practices in grooming and animal care. She also believes in giving back—regularly supporting rescue organizations by donating supplies and hosting fundraising events, including charity nail trims for the OSPCA. Ella is known not only for her expertise but also for her genuine warmth, compassion, and ability to build strong connections with both pets and their owners.
